Even with the best intentions, it seems almost impossible in today’s society to escape contamination from common pollutants that occur within our air and water. Unfortunately, many of these possible combinations of contaminants are harsh, with the amount of pollutants out there in the air. Fortunately, one way to combat this build up of toxins in the body is with body detox recipes that specifically address the need to get rid of the toxic waste that builds up inside us, and replace it with a purified feeling that comes from proper cleansing of the body in a holistic sense.
Many times this can be performed at home, with the abundance of home cooking based body detox recipes that are available on the market today. By combining foods that have been shown to have a positive effect in neutralizing the free radicals that are out there in abundance in our air and water, it’s possible to help put a stop to this spread of problem detox buildup before it even starts. If it is your colon that you are most interested in clearing out, any recipes that combine high fiber content with fruits that have a mild laxative effect is a safe bet. One such example would be a smoothie that combines flax seeds that are high in fiber, with fresh pineapple, that exerts the laxative effect. The combination of the two is quite effective for your cleansing purposes.
Some of the body detox recipes are harsher on the system than others. One of the most popular recipes out there at the moment, in addition to the always-popular master cleanse, or “lemonade diet,” is a saltwater cleanse that combines Epsom salts with any number of other fruit juices, which is a sure way to unclog a blocked system, quickly and efficiently.
When it comes to body detox recipes, the sky is the limit and there is no end to the potential that you may have when you put all of these key ingredients together in a smoothie that will clear out your internal pipes and organs and allow you to breathe just a little bit easier.

Great article, following a detox diet has helped me feel happy and healthier. However a diet is not enough. Exercise is also very important. This is why I have also started swimming on a regular basis.
