A detox diet is an increasingly popular method of helping the body rid itself of harmful toxins and poisons. The staple in all of these regimes is to eat (or drink) pure, natural foods that have limited toxins and actually aid in the cleansing and optimal function of the lymph nodes, kidneys, liver, and digestive tract. Foods that slow down this objective are avoided.
